Pinecone Bird Feeder

Materials Needed:
Pinecone
Peanut butter
Birdseed
2 Pie tins
Heavy string
Hint: choose a pinecone that does not have sharp edges!
 
Directions:
 1. Tie heavy string around the tip of the pinecone, for hanging when the project is complete.
2. Spread peanut butter in the bottom of one pie tin, and fill the second pie tin with bird seed. 
3. Roll the pinecone in the peanut butter until covered. Be careful not to prick fingers, and keep the string out of the peanut butter.
4. Roll the peanut butter covered pinecone in the birdseed until covered. Now hang outside!
