Use wax in your next water color art project

Wax and Water Colors

Children are familiar with coloring with wax crayons, yet this project is a little different, instead of colored wax, they will be using colorless wax from candles or wax bars. They will create an invisible picture, only to have it magically appear after they apply the water colors.

Materials Needed:
Wax
Paper
Water color paint
Paint brush
Cup of water

Directions:
1. Use wax to draw a picture on the paper.
2. Paint entire drawing with water paints.
3. Allow to dry.
