1 small package navy beans
1/2 pound salt pork
1 small onion (diced)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
Salt and pepper
Soak beans in
water over night. Drain and cover with hot water, add salt pork, onions,
salt and pepper. Boil until beans are tender. Add additional water when
needed. When tender add sugar and ketchup, blend. Place in covered
baking dish and bake for 3 hours at 350°. Remove cover for last hour.
