This is a favorite of my son, Scott. Over the years, our family has
served this dip at holiday gatherings. Years ago we used to use the
small can of crab, found in the grocery store’s can fish section.
Yet, with the wide use of imitation crab these days, we’ve discovered
imitation crab makes an affordable substitution.
Crab meat or imitation crab (finely diced)
Cream cheese (blend until softened)
Worcestershire sauce
Blend
together equal amounts of crabmeat and cream cheese. Add more or less
cream cheese, depending on personal preference. Season with a
shake of Worcestershire sauce. Serve on crackers.
Crab dip (above recipe)
Flour tortillas
Parsley
Spoon a generous amount of crab dip on one side of a flour tortilla or wrap. Spread it evenly on the tortilla, completely covering one side. Sprinkle a little parsley over the covered side. Gently roll up the tortilla. After the roll is firmly rolled up, fill the ends with additional filling, if needed, and pat down. Cut the roll into bite size circles.
