At both restaurants we served this homemade tartar sauce. We used dill relish and dehydrated onion flakes, yet at home we use diced dill pickles and diced green onions. As for the size of a serving spoon (as specified in the recipe), it is the large stainless steal spoon we used at the restaurant for mixing or serving. This recipe can be made to taste, simply combine mayonnaise with diced onion and dill pickles. Of course, Best Foods Mayo!
1/4 gallon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes or diced green onions to taste
2 serving spoons dill relish, or finely diced dill pickle.
Mix and refrigerate.
