Going Out

Gee it’s fun when we go out,
listening to our children shout.
With menus they play tug of war,
while throwing crackers on the floor.

Ordering what they won’t eat,
begging instead for something sweet.
Under the table they suddenly sneak. Wow a game of hide and seek!

A restaurant you will never again see,
until perhaps you’re twenty-three!
